Recruitment Requirement for OHLE (Overhead Line Equipment) Operatives on the Dublin City Centre Re-signalling Project
Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail is undertaking a major investment programme - Dublin City Centre Re-Signalling Project
A number of General Operatives are required for a fixed period of time to support and contribute to this essential project work.
The successful candidates will be recruited to carry out works associated with or resulting from the City Centre Re-signalling Project which involves providing new signalling and telecoms infrastructure along the DART line. Flexible working arrangements will apply, including night and weekend working on a 24/7 work pattern on a 44 hours contract arrangement. A full clean driving licence is required. A knowledge of Railway operations and an understanding of electricity would be an advantage.
Assessments and a competency based interview will form part of this selection process. Candidates may be shortlisted on the basis of experience and/or application/CV.
Relevant experience will include: experience working at heights of up to 10 metres; experience of following sequential safety critical procedures; experience of making adjustments to mechanical equipment. Please indicate clearly in your application if you have such experience.
