28th April 2015

Over 100 employees from across Iarnród Éireann are taking part in the 2015 Cycle Against Suicide which is travelling the country up to 10th May.

Our team from Dundalk's Clarke Station set out yesterday (27th April) from Belfast to kick things off along with hundreds of other participants.

Our Dundalk team taking part in Cycle against Suicide: Kevin Black, Brendan Connolly, Dessie Callan, George Martin, Ray Breen, Paul Callan, & Anthony Monaghan

There was a great atmosphere in the shared goal of raising awareness of mental health issues, and breaking the cycle of suicide in Ireland.

As George Martin, one of our Dundalk team said "we got to chat to so many different people from all areas and walks of life.  We were aware of what Cycle Against Suicide was about, but it only really hit home today about the cause and all associated with it.  It was very special being part of it."
