Give Us A Song This February
This February Iarnród Éireann is supporting The Caroline Foundation in appealing to all choirs, singing groups and anyone who likes to sing a tune to bring out their inner diva to help raise funds for cancer research. These musical unions will also help mark World Cancer Day on the 4th February.
Established in 2013, in memory of Caroline Dwyer who sadly passed away following a nine year battle with cancer aged 35, the Foundation supports the work of the Cancer Clinical Research Trust (CCRT) based in St. Vincents Hospital, Dublin. The Trust is self-funding with all funds raised contributing to much needed research programmes, which are aimed at assisting doctors and scientists to work towards decoding and ultimately defeating cancer.
The Caroline Foundation hope that this grass roots endeavour will extend throughout the country and give everyone the opportunity to “Give Us a Song” for Cancer Research. So why not choose a time and place to sing and join in the fun!
