Coastal Protection Works taking place between Greystones and Kilcoole

Due to Coastal Protection Works taking place between Greystones and Kilcoole there will be no pedestrian access to the area until January 2017.

Iarnród Éireann are currently undertaking coastal protection works between Greystones and Kilcoole.

For safety reasons, pedestrian access to this area will be closed until January 2017.

  • Access will be cut off near the site which is about half way between Greystones and Kilcoole.
  • Access in and around Kilcoole train station and car park are not affected.
  • Access to the beach and the walk way between Kilcoole and Newcastle are not affected.
