County rivalries resume this summer as the All Ireland Hurling and Football Championships return for 2019. The League campaigns are over and the road to Croke Park in September begins. Each county has been working hard all year with the ultimate goal of being crowned the All Ireland Champions.

Dublin are the current GAA Football champions and are looking to go for 5 in a row. No county has ever achieved this and every rival will be trying to stop Dublin from achieving this record. Mayo beat Kerry in the League Finals back in March and they will be hoping to take that form into the summer. Could this be their year? Kerry, Tyrone, Galway and Donegal to name but a few will be hoping to get their hands on the Sam Maguire.

Limerick are the team to beat in the Hurling Championships as they are the current All Ireland and Division 1A League champions. After winning the Liam MacCarthy Cup for the first time since 1973 they will be hoping to win back to back championships. Kilkenny, Galway and Cork who between them have won 93 of the 131 Hurling championships will be fighting hard to get back to the pinnacle of their sport.

Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail have got you covered on how to get to the big GAA match. Book your ticket online and sit back, relax and get ready to cheer for your County in some of Ireland's top sporting arenas.
