Rail Gourmet and Corporate Catering provide on-board catering services for Iarnród Éireann. Offering you a wide range of options, from in-seat trolley services to dining cars which gives you good quality food and value for money.
Rail Gourmet - All IÉ Intercity routes (excluding Dublin Connolly/Belfast)
Rail Gourmet are delighted to introduce a new menu consisting of only the highest quality and tastiest food under their new brand 2U. Their range includes freshly cooked breakfast options including everyone’s favourite the Great Irish Breakfast, pastries and cakes produced each day by a local artisan bakery and sandwiches made to their recipes. Our recent introduction of iconic Irish brands Barry’s tea and Bewley’s beverages is a great way to compliment our entire food offering.
First Class and Dining Car
Our stewards would be delighted to serve you from a choice of freshly prepared breakfasts, delicious snacks and hot meals, scrumptious cakes and pasties, all served directly to your seat.
Trolley & Buffet Car
Our stewards will pass through the train with the trolley offering a range of snacks such as sandwiches, hot and cold beverages, cakes & pastries and confectionery. In addition to this hot snacks are available from the buffet car.

Corporate Catering - Enterprise Dublin Connolly/Belfast route
Corporate Catering Services has provided onboard catering to the Enterprise Service since 2006. They have re-launched their offering under the brand name ‘Trax, great food on the move’. With this, our customers can now enjoy a wide variety of options from 1st Plus table d’hôte menu and at seat dining to trolley services, bar and dining car options on all train services.

Nothing standard about standard class
Our trolley is packed with deep filled freshly made sandwiches, mouth-watering butter pastries, moist lemon slices, rich homemade fruit slices, luxurious muffins, sweet treats and savoury snacks complimented with fine wines and hot and cold drinks.
Light snacks and beverages are also on offer from the bar which is situated between the 1st Plus and Enterprise Class carriages.

First Plus
Travel 1st Plus and find yourself with space to stretch out, think, work, catch up on the day’s headlines or simply relax.
From Monday to Sunday, we will “meet and greet” you as you board your train and show you to your seat where you will be offered a complimentary selection of juices and the daily newspaper. You can choose from our carefully selected and extensive ‘1st Plus Menu’ which will be delivered to your seat and includes complimentary tea or coffee refills. A selection of soft drinks, wines, beer and spirits are available on all services.
