  • You can purchase the ticket above using our Journey Planner. Tickets can only be purchased up to 90 days in advance.
  • An allocation of bookings on all InterCity services can be reserved online without a fee for 'Free Travel Pass or valid ticket holders'. When this allocation is fully booked, all remaining seats can be reserved by 'Free Travel Pass or valid ticket holders' for €2.50 per journey.

The United Rugby Championship (URC) and Investec Champions Cup season are underway once again.

Both leagues have grown since their inception with games now taking place across Northern and Southern hemispheres. With the addition of the extra South African teams the URC and Investec Champions Cup look to become global rugby tournaments.

 

The Irish provinces will be looking to improve on last year’s showing, with Leinster being runner ups in the Investec Champions Cup for the second year in a row and Munster claiming the URC championship title for the first time in over a decade.

Travel information

  • Fans travelling to the Aviva Stadium from Connolly Station will be able to take the Dart to Lansdowne road.
  • Fans travelling to the Aviva Stadium from Heuston should take the LUAS to Connolly Station and then the Dart to  Lansdowne Road
  • Please do not travel to the station if you don't have a train ticket.

Students

Students can also avail of our discounted student fares when booking online. Our student fares to Dublin Heuston from Limerick are from €10.39 and from Cork is €14.39. This also includes free reserved seating where applicable.

DART

The DART is the perfect way to get to the RDS, you won't have to worry about traffic or parking so you can arrive relaxed and ready to enjoy the atmosphere .

Venues

Aviva Stadium and RDS Arena

The easiest way to travel directly to The Aviva is to take the DART. The train line runs under the West stand of the stadium and stops at Lansdowne Road Station. With the RDS only around the corner from The Aviva you can get the DART to either Landsdowne Road or Sandymount Station with both only being a short 5 minute walk from the stadium.

Kingspan Stadium

Belfast Lanyon Place train station is the nearest stop to the Kingspan Stadium and is a 20 minute walk from the Stadium. A Translink Metro Rugby Bus service is provided each match day picking up at East Bridge Street (Central Station) 50 minutes before kick-off then directly to Kingspan Stadium.

Dexcom Stadium

Ceannt Station Galway is located at the bottom of Eyre Square and is a 10 minute walk from the Dexcom Stadium. Turn left at the bottom of the station and walk up Forster Street up towards College Road and Dexcom Stadium is on the left.

Thomond Park

With Limerick Colbert train station only a 20 minute walk from Thomond Park you won't have to worry about traffic or parking so you can arrive relaxed and ready to soak up the atmosphere.
