Due to on going Engineering Works between Mallow and Cork the following service alterations and amendments will be in place mid week Monday to Thursday during September and October:

  • 21.00 Dublin Heuston to Cork will operate as and will operate to Mallow only, bus transfers from Mallow to Cork
  • 22.30 Mallow to Cork will be substituted by bus transfers 
  • 22.00 Cork to Mallow will be substituted by bus transfers 
  • 23.00 Cork to Mallow will be substituted by bus transfers 

Monday to Thurday in October and November

Monday 10th to Thursday 13th October
Monday 7th to Thursday 10th November
Tuesday 1st to Thursday 3rd November
Monday 14th to Thursday 17th November

Due to Engineering Works between Kildare and Portlaoise, the following service alterations and amendments will take place in October and November.
  • 22:10 Dublin Heuston to Portlaoise will operate to Kildare only, bus transfers direct from Kildare to Portlaoise, second bus transfer from Kildare to Monasterevin, Portarlington and Portlaoise
  • 19:25 Cork to Dublin Heuston will call additionally at Portarlington and Kildare 
  • 20:25 Cork to Dublin Heuston will call additionally at Portarlington and Kildare 
  • 21:25 Portlaoise to Dublin Heuston is cancelled
  • 22:30 Portlaoise to Dublin Heuston will commence from Kildare at 23:05 

Saturday 8th October 

Please note that due to Engineering Works between Portlaoise and Thurles on Saturday 8th October, the following service alterations and amendments will take place:
  • 21:00 Heuston to Cork and will operate to Portlaoise only, bus transfers from Portlaoise to Thurles, second train at 23:05 from Thurles to Cork
  • 20:25 Cork to Heuston will operate to Thurles only, bus transfers from Thurles to Portlaoise, second train at 23:00 from Portlaoise to Heuston
  • 22:38 Limerick Junction to Limerick is deferred to 23:27
  • 19:25 Mallow to Cork is deferred to 19:30

Saturday 15th October  

Due to Engineering Works between Thurles and Limerick Junction on Saturday 15th October, the following service alterations and amendments will take place:
  • Cork services will operate every hour in each direction with altered timings 
  • Limerick services will operate every two hours, connecting to and from all Cork services at Limerick Junction 
  • Tralee services will operate every two hours, connecting to and from Cork services at Mallow 
  • 17:05hrs Dublin Heuston to Tralee is cancelled. Passengers should board the 17:05hrs Dublin Heuston to Cork service and change at Mallow for a connecting service. Please note that there will be a delay of 25 - 30 mins from Mallow to Tralee 
  • Nenagh Line services will operate with altered timings, please change at Ballybrophy for connecting services.
