Summary of project timelines and milestones

• 2024- 2024 the Options Development Process, Environmental Surveys, Multi-Criteria Analysis and Options Assessment and Selection and Preliminary will take place. In terms of Public Participation this will involve Landowner and Stakeholder Engagement.
• Q3 2024 the Preliminary Options Selection Report, Selection of Emerging Preferred Scheme and Preliminary Geotechnical Investigations will take place.
• Q4 2023 - the Options Selection Report and selection of Emerging Preferred Scheme. Non-Statutory Public Consultation 1 on the Emerging Preferred Scheme.
• 2025 Non-Statutory Public Consultation 2 on the Preferred Scheme. Develop and finalised the Preliminary Design Report and develop Reference Design for Statutory Consultation. Environmental Surveys will continue, start Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) Scoping and Assessment will take place.
• Spring 2026 Statutory Consent Application will be prepared. Public Participation at this stage will include Landowner and Stakeholder Engagement.
• 2026 Statutory Public Consultation will take place and Planning Application will be submitted. Public Participation will also involve Landowner and Stakeholder Engagement.
