Graduate Electrical/Electronic and Mechatronic Engineers
We’re entering a new era of transportation with plans to lead Ireland’s sustainability strategy. This involves transforming our fleet with 600 electric carriages over the next 10 years and looking for innovative electrical and mechatronic engineering graduates to join us on our green journey.
To become the greenest fleet in Irish transport history, we require electrical and mechatronic engineering graduates who have achieved or working towards Level 8 Honours Degree.

The Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail Grad Programme
Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail is the first employer awarded Engineers Ireland CPD approval for a Graduate Development Programme and we are currently shortlisted in the CIPD awards for our programme.
As part of this programme we:
