First Class - Dublin Heuston and Cork Route

You can travel in First Class on all Mark IV trains between Dublin Heuston and Cork. Enjoy a more comfortable and improved travel experience. A range of affordable tickets are available for journeys between Dublin Heuston and Cork.

This First Class offering is not available on Cork services which operate with a ICR set. Please see Premier Class below for a list of Cork services which operate as an ICR.

Premier Class - Dublin Heuston and Cork or Tralee

You can travel in Premier Class on all direct ICR trains between Dublin Heuston and Cork or Tralee.

  • 4-seat and 2-seat table arrangements

  • Premier Class fares will be listed as 'First Class' on our Journey Planner
  • Dublin Heuston to and from Tralee via Mallow: First Class is available between Dublin Heuston and Mallow. You will be in Standard Class after the transfer at Mallow.

Customers can enjoy a more comfortable and improved travel experience. A range of affordable tickets are available for journeys between Belfast and Dublin.

  • On-board catering options range from a full dining carriage to a trolley service.

Catering On-board Our Services

Our partners provide complete on-board catering services for Iarnród Éireann. They have a wide range of product offerings from hot food and snacks to beverages and pastries. A full trolley service is operating on the Cork and Belfast route only.
