Revenue Management Analyst

Location: Connolly Station, Dublin

Applications are now invited for the role of Revenue Management Analyst, Commercial Department, Connolly Station.


The Revenue Analyst is a key member of the Revenue Management Team, responsible for monitoring demand across Intercity routes and adjusting online pricing in real time. The Revenue Analyst will work with the support of the Senior Revenue Analyst using best practice yield management principles to grow online revenue and passenger volume. The role relies heavily on quantitative and analytical skills to identify patterns and trends and target key areas for attention. This includes building clear, reliable Excel reports that support pricing and capacity decisions. Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and validation is desirable but not essential.


Essential Criteria:

Applicants must demonstrate:

  • Highly numerate and detail orientated, with a strong commitment to accuracy, consistency and clear process documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to derive insights from complex data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to translate data into clear messages and recommendations.
  • Motivated self-starter with initiative and a strong emphasis on delivery and execution.
  • High degree of task ownership, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability, with the capacity to define complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent IT skills with comfort adopting emerging technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and a logical approach to devise analysis techniques and reports to best meet the scenario.

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related business field.
  • Revenue Management experience (rail, hotel or airline).
  • Familiarity with key concepts of micro and macroeconomics.
  • SQL (or the ability to learn quickly), e.g. ability to pull the right data, join tables, verify accuracy and translate business questions into simple, reliable queries
