SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Practitioner
Location: Offices in Dublin (Inchicore), Athlone, Limerick Junction and Athenry (Hybrid working arrangements available, as per Remote Working policy)
Salary: €65k-€80k (Salary commensurate with suitable Qualification and Experience)
Contract Hours: 36-hour per week.
Contract Duration: Fixed Purpose & Fixed Term leading to permanency.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 25 days per annum, rising to 28 based on service.

Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail are recruiting for SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Practitioner, Infrastructure Asset Management System Team within the Chief Civil Engineers (CCE) Department to join us for an exciting phase of growth within the railway sector.
We are looking for a SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Practitioner to join our team and support the design, optimisation, and continuous improvement of our infrastructure maintenance processes within SAP.
The main role of the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Practitioner is to assist the various CCE departments in managing their asset register in SAP PM, Sharepoint, GIS and Power BI. The successful candidate will also be required to assimilate the system requirements and design solutions for asset management processes, design the asset register to the business needs and scriptwriting (form design) for work manager mobile application to capture data and integrate to asset register.
Essential:
- Qualified in a Business/Management/ Computing or Engineering discipline.
- SAP PM Experience
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel (filters, formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated with an enthusiasm for problem-solving
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Experience in project environments, including testing and change management
Desirable:
- Full driving license
- GIS & SQL Database data handling experience
- Administration of Sharepoint
- Power BI Reporting
- Microsoft Visio
- Personal Track Safety (PTS)
- A working knowledge of railway infrastructure and systems
- Understanding of Project Management Procedures
- Experience in applying business systems to manage data
- Experience in the management of company systems
- Certificate in Principles of Asset Management
