Due to Engineering Works between Clontarf Road and Drogheda on Saturday 31st January, Sunday 1st and Bank Holiday Monday 2nd February, the following service alterations and amendments will take place:

• Enterprise Service: will operate as bus transfer between: Connolly / Drogheda, train Drogheda/Dundalk/Newry/Portadown/Belfast Grand Central.
• Enterprise services from Connolly station are advanced by 30mins.
• 16.50hrs Connolly/Belfast will depart at normal departure time.

• 23:00 Cork to Cobh will be substituted by bus transfers from Cork to Littleisland, Glounthaune, Fota, Carrigaloe, Rushbrooke and Cobh 
• 23:15 Midleton to Cork will be substituted by bus transfers from Midleton to Carrigtwohill, Glounthaune, Littleisland and Cork

Due to a planned track works on the Cork to Midleton line, customers are advised that alterations will be in place between Monday 5th to Wednesday 7th of January and Monday 12th to Wednesday 14th of January 2026.

• 21:15 Cork to Midleton will be replaced by a bus transfer

Due to engineering works on the Cork mainline on Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd February, bus transfers will be in operation. 

• Train will operate Heuston/Charleville/Mallow only
• Passengers for Cork will be bus transfers direct from Thurles to Cork
• A bus transfer will operate Charleville/Mallow/Cork/Mallow/Charleville connecting with services both on the Kerry road and Cork main line

Saturday 31st January, Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd February - Tralee Services

• Buses will operate Mallow/Banteer/Millstreet/Rathmore/Killarney/Farranfore and return
• A second bus will operate Mallow/Farranfore/Tralee and return
• A third bus will operate Mallow/Rathmore/Killarney and return
• A fourth bus will operate Killarney/Farranfore/Tralee and return

Cork connections are provided as follows:

• Saturday: Hourly service Cork/Mallow/Cork
• Sunday and Monday: Hourly via the Cork/Mallow/Charleville buses with some additionals.

31st January, 1st and 2nd February

Due to engineering works between Connolly and Howth, Connolly and Drogheda on Saturday 31st January, Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd February, there will be NO train service between Connolly/Howth and Connolly/Drogheda.

The following transfer journey arrangements will apply:

• There will be no DART service between Connolly and Malahide/Howth. DART services will operate between Connolly and Bray / Greystones only.
• The following DART stations will be closed: Malahide, Portmarnock, / Clongriffin / Howth / Sutton / Bayside / Howth Junction & Donaghmede / Kilbarrack / Raheny / Harmonstown / Killester and Clontarf Road.
• Dublin Bus will accept valid rail tickets for travel within the affected area.

• Due to essential platform works taking place at Ballymote Station from, train services will NOT stop at Ballymote station.
• Bus transfers will operate from Ballymote station to connect with train services at Boyle and Collooney.

To ensure connect with train services bus transfer departure times from Ballymote Station have been advanced.

• 15 minutes for bus transfers to Boyle 
• 10 mins for bus transfers to Collooney 
• No change to Bus transfer times from Boyle to Collooney / Ballymote.
