- Locations: Inchicore, Dublin 08.
- Salary: €63k-€78K (Commensurate with suitable Qualification and Experience)
- Contract Hours: 36-hour per week.
- Contract Duration: Fixed Term leading to permanency.
- Annual Leave Entitlement: 25 days per annum, rising to 28 based on service.

Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail are recruiting for Data Analyst, Track Measurement & Systems Team, Chief Civil Engineering (CCE) Technical Department. The purpose of the role is to provide data analytics and to develop a data management strategy for all track measurement & systems data to the Principal Engineer Track Measurement & Systems in the CCE Technical Department and assist, when required, the Technical Manager (CCE) and Chief Civil Engineer.
This is a new role within the Track Measurement & Systems Team with the exciting opportunity to deliver innovative solutions for Track data analysis and reporting through creative problem solving and expertise. This transformative role will contribute to the evolving technological advancements in Track asset management and their implantation on the Railway.
Essential Requirements:
- Hold a Level 8 Degree in a related area such as data science, statistics, computer science or postgraduate in data analytics etc.
- Possess a minimum of 4-years experience working in related area of data/business analytics
- Competence in working with software packages including advanced knowledge of Excel
- Strong experience in visualisation of data
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Experience with data reporting or producing KPIs.
