Senior Track & Structures Engineer (STSE), Limerick Junction, Chief Civil Engineers (CCE) Department:
Location: Limerick Junction.
Remote Working: Available as per Remote Working policy.
Salary: €108k-€113K (Dependent on role & commensurate with suitable Qualification and Experience)
Contract Hours: 36-hour per week.
Contract Duration: Fixed Term leading to permanency.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 25 days per annum, rising to 28 based on service.

Iarnród Eireann, Irish Rail are now recruiting for a Senior Track and Structures Engineer (STSE), Chief Civil Engineers (CCE) Department. The Senior Track and Structures Engineer (STSE) is a key senior position within the CCE business with responsibility for all track and structures assets in the region. Reporting to the CCE Technical Manager, the STSE Limerick Junction is responsible for programmes of asset inspection, determining maintenance and renewal requirements, providing expertise and support to the Infrastructure Managers teams and generally assuring the safety and availability of all CCE track and structures assets.
This role requires a highly motivated individual with a substantial level of technical expertise and demonstrable relevant experience who will be responsible for leading a team of Engineers and technical experts in an extremely safety critical role within a dynamic and demanding environment.

Essential Requirements
- Fully Qualified to Degree Level 8 in Civil Engineering
- Chartered Engineer with a relevant Engineering Institution
- A minimum of 10 years railway engineering experience in both track and structures
