Priority Seating is on all services. It is there for those who need the seats most. E.g. customers with a disability, pregnant/elderly customers.
80% of disabilities are hidden/invisible. They are defined as 'a disability that is not immediately apparent'.
Priority Seating is close to the entrance on all trains for easy access.
Most people are happy to give up their seat if you need it. Show your JAM card or Please Offer Me A Seat badge to someone in a priority seat. They’ll see that you need the seat. Users have told us that this helps to avoid embarrassment. You are not assured of a priority seat if it is already taken by others in need.
