Children aged 5-18 years of age, can use a Child Ticket.
With a Child (5-8) TFI Leap Card children aged 5 to 8 years can travel for free on Transport for Ireland (TFI) services. For more information and to apply, please visit the Leap Card website. They must tap on and off trains, buses, etc, as normal, and will travel for free.
Children under five years of age can travel for free when accompanied by a fare paying adult. Children should not occupy seats required for other fare paying passengers.
To book a seat for a child under five years of age, select the 'Reservation only' option on the Journey Planner.
