Customers are advised there is limited availability for seat only reservations online.

  • You can purchase the ticket above using our Journey Planner. Tickets can only be purchased up to 90 days in advance.
  • An allocation of bookings on all InterCity services can be reserved online without a fee for 'Free Travel Pass or valid ticket holders'. When this allocation is fully booked, all remaining seats can be reserved by 'Free Travel Pass or valid ticket holders' for €2.50 per journey.

Our booking system requires a minimum operating system and browser versions to allow a customer transact. This is to protect the system as well as you, the customer.  The following minimum requirements in terms of browser versions and operating systems are:

Customers who's browsers and or operating systems on their phone, tablet or desktop PC will receive a message 'Your browser is outdated'. Please follow the steps below to check and where applicable update your browser or operating system:

How to update your browser on Desktop and Laptop:

The following step by step guide will show you how to update your browser to enable you to use our brand new website.


Chrome
 - Please use version 50+

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Click the options icon (three dots) in the top right hand corner
  3. On the drop down menu, click ‘Help’ then click ‘About Google Chrome’
  4. You are given the option to update your browser. If you do not see this button you are running on the latest browser
  5. Restart you device

Safari – Please use version 8+

  1. Click the Apple in the top right hand corner
  2. Click ‘Software update’
  3. Click ‘Show Details’
  4. Select ‘Safari’ and select ‘Install Item’ If Safari is not on the list you are on the latest version
  5. Restart your device

Internet Explorer – Please use version 10+

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click the settings icon ( ) in the top right hand corner
  3. Click ‘About Internet Explorer’
  4. Select the box for ‘Install new versions automatically’
  5. Restart your device

Firefox – Please use version 45+

  1. Open Firefox
  2. Click the Firefox drop down button in the top left hand corner
  3. Click ‘Help’
  4. Click ‘About Firefox’
  5. Update Firefox to the latest version
  6. Restart your device

How to update your browser on Mobile and Tablet devices:

iOS – Please use iOS 9+

  1. Open the ‘App Store’
  2. Click ‘Updates’ in the bottom right hand corner
  3. Update the browser you are using
  4. When the update is complete your browser will be up to date

Android – Please use Android 4.4+

  1. Open the ‘Play Store’
  2. Click the menu icon in the top left corner
  3. Select ‘my apps and games’
  4. Select the app you need to update
  5. When the update is complete your browser will be up to date
If you are receiving the following message; 'Your operating system needs to be updated' you will need to carry out the necessary updates to access our new website.

How to update your Desktop Operating System:

The following guide will show your how to update your operating system to enable you to use our brand new website.

Windows - Please use Windows 7+

  1. Open ‘Start’ in the bottom left hand corner
  2. Search for ‘Windows Update’ in the search bar
  3. If you see a message telling you that important updates are available, or telling you to review important updates, click the message to view and select the important updates to install
  4. In the list, click the important updates for more information. Select the check boxes for any updates that you want to install, and then click OK
  5. Click Install updates
  6. You will now need to restart your device for the update to complete

Mac - Please use MacMavericks or later

  1. Open ‘App Store’
  2. Click the ‘Updates’ tab in the top menu
  3. You’ll see any software update that is available
  4. Click ‘Update’
  5. When the update has complete you will need to restart your Mac device to complete the update

How to update your Operating System on Mobile or Tablet devices:

iOS – Please use iOS 9+

  1. Open ‘Settings’

  3. Open ‘Software Update’
  4. Click ‘Install Now’
  5. Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  6. When your device restarts your operating system will be updated

Android – Please use Android 4.4+

  3. Click ‘Download updates manually’
  4. Agree to the Terms and Conditions
  5. When the update has complete you will need to restart your device to complete the update
