Our DART and Commuter services are the perfect way to get around Dublin and the nearby counties. Both run frequently so you can travel in your own time, on your own schedule.

The DART line runs along the coast of the Irish Sea from Malahide and Howth in North County Dublin south as far as Greystones, Co Wicklow. The line offers stunning views as you go from town to town. Travel through Ireland by Train

We make it easy for you to travel around Ireland. Our rail network covers most of the country. Buy a 'Trekker Pass' or 'Explorer Travel Ticket' and explore at your leisure. Our web fares also offer discounts on rail tickets booked 7 or more days in advance. It's even cheaper for you to see all that our beautiful country has to offer!

We offer a huge discount on tickets when you buy online. Booking online 7 or more days in advance will get you our cheapest fares. This is subject to availability. For more info, see our webfares  page.

When booking online, you can reserve your seat. If you are travelling with friends or family, you can book seats beside each other to avoid being split up on busy trains. Sit back and enjoy each others company while travelling through our beautiful countryside. Or if you prefer, our Dublin - Cork route offers a Quieter Carriage, so if you like to travel with more quiet, you can.

Family Travel

For families of up to 2 Adults and 4 Children, Iarnród Éireann offer excellent family fares. For family days out on the DART a family of 1 or 2 adults and up to 4 children can get unlimited travel by DART or Suburban rail for a day for just €20.
