Location – Haymarket House, Smithfield
Salary – Clerical Officer Grade 2
Iarnród Éireann is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to support the delivery of the Capital Investments team. Reporting to the Assistant Director Capital Investments, the Administration Officer will provide high-quality administrative, organisational and coordination support across the programme team. This includes managing documentation, coordinating meetings, maintaining systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within a fast-paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the effective coordination of all administrative functions of the IÉ Capital Investments office in Haymarket House, Smithfield
- Deliver administrative support, event services, direct office services and essential clerical functions to meet the objectives of stakeholders. Provide general organizational support, ensuring integrity, flexibility, accuracy and confidentiality
- Deliver PA support to Project and Programme Managers as required
- nterface with NTA staff in Haymarket House (Building Management, IT etc)
- Monitor the administration system to evaluate and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize effectively
- High level of integrity and decision-making skills
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Specialist equipment or systems knowledge
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of IÉ Project Management Procedures (PMPs) & NTA Project Approval Guidelines (PAGs) & Public Spending Code (PSC)
