Contract Manager 'Technical Support and Spares Supply Agreement for the DART+FLEET'

As Contract Manager; you’ll be at the heart of ensuring performance, reliability, and value in the groundbreaking DART+ Fleet project.
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our dynamic team, to manage all aspects of the Technical Support and Spares Supply Agreement (TSSSA) for the new DART + Rolling Stock Fleet. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who has previous contract management experience and holds an engineering degree or equivalent level of engineering experience.
The successful candidate will engage with Alstom Transport SA to ensure all services set out in the TSSSA agreement are met within budget and that the contractor's performance meets their contractual commitments. The position will require travel between Iarnród Éireann maintenance locations where DART + Rolling Stock will be maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all aspects of the TSSSA contract are being implemented correctly and that the contractor is performing their obligations.
- Tracking contractual deliverables to ensure that payments are processed correctly and the correct services are provided as set out in schedule one of the TSSSA
- Recording and reviewing of all documentation to identify any issues raised and implement actions accordingly
- Analyse contractual data to identify trends and raise technical issues accordingly
- Track the mileage of the fleet and ensure that TSSSA costs are appropriately managed as per Schedule 3 'Pricing and Payment'
- Provide short and long-term planning and budget forecasts for the TSSSA contract
- Manage and report on the “Performance Regime” asset out in Schedule 4
- Management of contract variations
- The position will require travel between IE maintenance locations where DART + Rolling Stock will be maintained
Essential Criteria
- 3 years’ experience of contract/contractor management
- Technical ability
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage resources
- Proficiency in the evaluation and presentation of statistics on Safety focus and knowledge
- People management skills
- Understanding of technical standards
- Experience of managing engineering change
- Candidates will be required to hold an engineering degree or equivalent level of engineering experience

- Proficiency in SAP
Desirable criteria
- Understanding of depot operations
- Experience of compiling and prioritising plans
- Experience of compiling budgets
- Rolling stock maintenance experience /qualification
