Strategy Integration Champion
Location – Connolly Station Head Office
Salary – Executive Grade D (€67,491.63 - €78,688.51)
The Opportunity
Iarnród Éireann has an ambitious vision for rail as the backbone of a sustainable transport system in Ireland and seeks an equally ambitious leader to support it in embedding this vision and its associated strategy in the culture or the organization. As part of the Transformation team, this leadership role will design and deliver a comprehensive Programme to ensure our vision is reflected in organizational conversations, communications, policies, procedures, systems and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a Strategy Integration Programme, embedding our vision and strategy across all business areas and into the organizational culture.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Iarnród Éireann to align policies, procedures, standards and training materials with strategic objectives.
- Partners with internal teams, the supply chain and external stakeholders to extend our strategic ambitions across the wider rail ecosystem.
- Support the development and delivery of engaging communication campaigns that promote awareness and participation across the organisation.
- Establish a network of Integration Champions to drive local adoption and ownership of our strategic ambitions.
Ensure robust programme governance, measurement, and reporting to track outcomes and impact.
Essential Requirements
- A passion for transformation and an ability to translate vision into practical, lasting change.
- Proven experience in strategic integration, with at least three years in a leadership role delivering programmes or embedding strategies into business-as-usual operations.
- A record of delivering measurable outcomes through large-scale or transformative initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills with the ability to inspire collaboration across diverse teams.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- A degree or equivalent third-level qualification.
- Knowledge of the rail and wider transport industry in Ireland and across Europe.
- Experience in the public sector or multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience turning strategic concepts into real-world implementation.
