TFI Leap Card Capping

If you frequently use public transport with a TFI Leap Card, you can benefit from daily and weekly capping.

'Capping' means there is a maximum daily/weekly amount your Leap Card can be charged. Once you reach this cap, you can still use public transport, but you will not be charged more.

It is important that you always tap on and tap off when using a TFI Leap Card. This applies even if you have reached the maximum spend cap. You must have tapped on to be in possession of a valid ticket for travel. If you do not you may face a fine.
