We are currently recruiting for NTCC Level Crossing Control Operators
Locations: Based in a new state of the art NTCC Building, Heuston station, Dublin
Salary: €33k - €48K (Dependent on Contract Hours and Service)
Qualification/ Experience Required – No previous experience required
Contract Hours: 39-48 hours depending upon the role and initial training period.
Contract Duration: Fixed Purpose & Fixed Term leading to permanency.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 20 days per annum, rising to 26 based on service.

Career Progression: Opportunities to progress to the position of NTCC Signalperson (Signalling Equipment Operators) dependent on successful completion of on-the-job training, courses, competence assessments and business needs. This role attracts a salary of up to €71k dependent on Contract Hrs and years’ service.
Applications are invited from candidates to join the team in our new National Train Control Centre (NTCC) state of the art facility in Heuston station. The National Train Control Centre (NTCC) will be Iarnród Éireann’s centre for the management and regulation of train movements on the Iarnród Éireann network. The centre will also provide real-time customer information at stations on our website and social media platforms.
The National Train Control Centre will enable the integration of signalling and communications control across the entire Iarnród Éireann network, making our rail traffic management more efficient. A significant customer benefit of the new NTCC will be increased train performance and the availability of up to the minute accurate real-time travel information for trip planning.
An assessment and competency-based interview will form part of this selection process. Candidates will be shortlisted based on experience and/or application/CV.
